Oral peptide that blocks the interleukin-23 receptor (JNJ-77242113). In the phase 2b ANTHEM-UC trial (NCT06049017; Abreu et al., N Engl J Med 2026, PMID 42874103) in 252 adults with moderately to severely active ulcerative colitis, clinical response at week 12 was 55%, 58% and 63% with 100, 200 and 400 mg once daily versus 27% with placebo. Investigational in ulcerative colitis.
