Multicenter open-label noninferiority RCT (NCT06032884) in critically ill adults with acute kidney injury and indications for renal-replacement therapy: initial intermittent haemodialysis vs continuous RRT. Stopped early for a sustained mortality signal. 554 randomised, 535 in ITT. Major adverse kidney event by day 90: 78.1% vs 71.6% (adjusted difference 6.28 points, 95% CI -1.22 to 13.79), noninferiority not shown. Day-90 mortality (Kaplan-Meier) 63.3% vs 53.6%, HR 1.30 (1.04-1.63). Funded by the French Ministry of Health.
