Open-label phase I trial in 12 people with Parkinson's disease: bemdaneprocel grafted bilaterally into the putamen at 0.9 million (5 patients) or 2.7 million cells (7 patients), with one year of immunosuppression. The one-year safety and tolerability goal was met with no adverse events related to the cell product; PET tracer uptake in the putamen rose at 18 months; no graft-induced dyskinesias. Motor-score changes were exploratory, without sham control or blinding.
