Weekly injectable dual GIP/GLP-1 receptor agonist, FDA-approved for type 2 diabetes. In the double-blind SURPASS-CVOT trial (13,165 adults with type 2 diabetes and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, ~4 years) it was noninferior to dulaglutide for cardiovascular death, MI or stroke (HR 0.92; 95.3% CI 0.83-1.01); superiority not shown.
