Showing your record to a doctor: a link that expires

An appointment gives you about a minute to explain your history, and that minute usually goes into swiping through photos on your phone. So your record can be opened to a doctor through a link or a QR code — they read it on their own screen, with no sign-up and nothing to install.

What the doctor sees

The assembled record: markers from your documents, the questionnaire and the trend of your measurements. Not your chats, not your notes and not your other profiles — only what belongs to the record you opened.

Why the link expires

A link that works forever is your medical record left in a group chat. Passed through a messenger, it outlives both the appointment and the phone it was opened on. So the lifetime is set when the link is created, and once it passes the address returns "page not found" — not an old copy of the record, but nothing.

Expired links are closed automatically. This is not tidiness for its own sake: a live link everyone has forgotten about is the most ordinary way medical data leaks.

If the appointment moves

You can create a new link — the previous one does not come back to life. One link, one appointment: that way you remember who you handed it to and when, and you leave no working links behind that you have already forgotten.
